Marisa launched Methods in Motion in 2004 as a spin-off from D.E.I. Management Group. Prior to launching Methods in Motion, Marisa held positions that included Sales Director with Marriott Hotels and Regional Sales Manager with IDT/Winstar. It was at IDT/Winstar that Marisa was introduced to D.E.I. Management Group. She was a client for four years before starting her business, which is a spin-off from D.E.I..
For over 14 years, Methods in Motion has helped hundreds of companies from diverse industries grow their businesses. Marisa knows that in life, it’s all about building good relationships. The average client engages Methods in Motion for five to seven years. Marisa has conducted sales training workshops throughout the U.S. and abroad, has been certified by the Leadership Strategies Institute as an “Effective Facilitator” and is regularly published in Independent Dealer Magazine. Marisa also started two separate Manager peer-sharing calls across two unique industries to foster an environment where Methods in Motion clients in similar industries can exchange ideas and help keep one another on track.
Marisa and her husband Troy of 19 years, reside in Atlanta, Georgia with their two dogs, Katie and Maggie. Marisa is actively involved with Mostly Mutts, a non-profit animal rescue organization and also competes in adventure racing throughout the southeast with her team that has been together for twenty plus years. Marisa received her formal education at Kennesaw State University and holds the rare designation of Atlanta Native.
Methods in Motion is pleased to welcome Chris Paul, our new Sales and Training Specialist. Chris will be playing a vital role in Methods in Motion trainings and has personally performed the job that he will be teaching others to do. Chris has had the unique experience of holding roles as a Sales Representative, Sales Manager and Corporate Training Manager in the office product industry, all while being a Methods in Motion client.
This means he not only thoroughly knows the Methods in Motion process and the office supply industry backwards and forwards, but also sees the material from both a Manager’s and a Representative’s perspective. With his extensive background in developing people, Chris has the keen ability to discern an individual’s areas of challenge. “The sales process has a distinct rhythm,” Chris says, “and to be effective it takes skill-building, fearless resolve and an understanding of your personal purpose.”
Prior to working in the office product industry, Chris served our country in the Marine Corps. While serving in the military, he discovered a love for training and equipping Junior Marines with necessary weaponry skills. As you can imagine, the military environment instilled in him the ability to focus on what matters most. These days, the subject matter he teaches has changed dramatically, but his ability to educate and empower the people he trains with a proven process remains constant.
At Methods in Motion we are pleased that Chris Paul is part of our team and that you will be able to learn from his depth of experience. Outside of work, weekends are dedicated to soccer for him, his wife Amanda and their two young sons.
At Methods in Motion, we are continually looking at how we can enhance the service we provide to our valued clients. With that in mind, Chelsea Cooper joined Methods in Motion in the position of Training Coordinator in June 2016. Prior to joining Methods in Motion, Chelsea worked as a Training Coordinator with a boutique leadership development firm in Atlanta.
Chelsea is responsible for organizing and executing all the pieces and parts that result in successfully delivering training. Whether customizing or updating materials, revising forms, capturing data or managing the logistics to get everything you need when you need it, Chelsea is an invaluable asset in streamlining the “back-end” process.
Originally from beautiful Vancouver Island, Chelsea now calls Acworth, Georgia home. Chelsea is a busy mom to two young sons, so can often be found on the sidelines of a football field in the fall or in the bleachers at a baseball game in the spring. Chelsea is the Director of Children’s Ministry at her church and has turned her hobby of photography into a small business.

Prior to becoming a Strategic Partner, Brian was actually a Methods in Motion client. As a former business owner of Sunbelt Office Products in Atlanta, investor and serial entrepreneur, Brian knows firsthand the demands you face juggling all facets of your business. Specializing in professional selling and executive leadership, he has helped clients across many industry types with strategic planning. He provides the necessary guidance to avoid making costly mistakes, while establishing realistic expectations.
As a valued Strategic Partner with Methods in Motion, Brian Rossi leverages his deep knowledge and experience to equip you and your organization to reach the next level on your pathway to success. When not busy growing companies, multiplying leaders and investing in real estate, you can find him raising pigs, riding four-wheelers, or downhill skiing.
